Please note this is a stand alone HR role. Salary based on FTE

**Main duties and responsibilities**

- Supporting the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems.
- Be actively involved in the recruitment process by preparing job descriptions, posting advertisements and managing the hiring process.
- Creation and implementation of effective onboarding plans and inductions.
- Be the first point of contact for all staff with regards to HR matters.
- Work with team members to continually review BCorp people criteria.
- Responsible for the development and ongoing DEI strategy.
- Work with Investors in People to gain accreditation.
- Develop a business wellness programme.
- Work with the team to ensure we maintain apprenticeship schemes and engagement with local schools and education establishments.
- Maintain employee feedback through annual surveys to see where we can make improvements.
- Work with managers to develop training and development programs.
- Implement and maintain training matrices.
- Support in performance management processes.
- Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues.
- Maintain employee records according to policy and legal requirements. Including our HR System, BreatheHR & UAttend T&A.
- Produce all necessary HR documentation including contracts etc.
- Ensure direct reports are managing sickness, lateness and performance issues and advise/support accordingly.
- Advise on HR issues within relevant employment law and best practice guidelines.
- Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance.
- Assist with internal IMS ISO auditing of process/procedure/systems to ensure compliance.
- Be involved in the company social committee and assist in event organising.

**Skills/Qualification/Knowledge/Experience required**



The post holder should have the following:

- Proven experience as HR Officer or similar HR position.
- Knowledge of IIP or BCorp useful, but not essential.
- Knowledge of HR functions (pay, benefits, recruitment, training and development)
- Up to date understanding of relevant legislation and disciplinary procedures.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Outstanding organisational and time-management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude.
- Strong ethics and reliability.
- HR credentials ie: CIPD recognised qualification (Minimum CIPD Membership level)

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£32,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 24 - 30 per week
