RECRUITMENTiQ is working with Guy & St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust to assist with their recruitment of an experienced Health Visitor.

Our health and care partners and we play an active role in integrated care systems (ICS) in the southeast and northwest London to deliver the best care to our local population. With a long clinical and scientific excellence history, we are one of England'seight academic health sciences centres (AHSCs), bringing together world-class clinical services, teaching, and research.

We are looking to appoint passionate Health Visitors to become part of the health visiting service that supports children and families in Lambeth and Southwark, helping to give children a good start in life.

**The Role**

We are looking for Registered Health Visitors to join our diverse team of health visitors who make a difference every day in the lives of families in Lambeth and Southwark. Working within either Lambeth or Southwark, you will be based in our main office,within the community clinics and agile working.

You will work within the Health Visiting Service, working closely with Community Staff Nurses, Child Development Support Workers, and other skill mix staff.

Together, you will be providing nursing support and care to local families.

**Skills, Qualifications and Experience**
Ability to undertake a health needs assessment, and work in partnership with families
Ability to communicate with clarity, effectiveness, and empathy to both families and colleagues
Knowledge of Safeguarding children
Ability to work collaboratively with other services and partners across organisational and clinical boundaries
Able to travel across a range of community settings with equipment and mobile devices
Ability to manage a designated caseload Autonomously
Provide advice and guidance with tact and sensitivity
Ability to work in a team and delegate appropriately
Aware of NMC Professional Codes Knowledge of NHS developments Knowledge of current health and social care policy
Experience leading on the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme for children under 5 years
Experience working with families with safeguarding needs
Experience in planning and delivering health promotion programmes
Experience in managing skill mix teams including supervision and appraisal.
Experience working in the community
Experience in mentoring students
Specialist Practitioner qualification, Health Visiting
Registered Nurse
Mentor qualification
NMC Registered
