Vista is expanding its Part 145 network, rebranding all facilities to ‘Vista Aircraft Maintenance’ during 2023. Our locations include Base Maintenance facilities in Farnborough (Dassault Aviation Business Services), Paris Le Bourget (Dassault Aviation Business Services), Munich (MCM Munich), Baden Baden (Air Hamburg Technik), Van Nuys (JetWorx) and Bay City (Red Wing Aircraft Maintenance) with additional Line Stations in Malta, Nice and Luton and Mobile Repair Teams in South Florida and the New York area.

We are recruiting an experienced Director of Maintenance to join our team in Farnborough.

Your Responsibilities:

- Responsible for the overall performance of line, base and workshop maintenance activities.
- Deliver on strategic projects as defined by the Head of Maintenance Operations.
- Ensure planning and logistics functions remain sufficiently equipped to meet all maintenance activities.
- Liaise with company stakeholders and update station personnel of upcoming tasks and/or stipulated targets.
- Develop and oversee the approval of the maintenance organisation exposition and associated procedures.
- Ensure daily activities remain efficient and compliant with Part145 MRO procedures.
- Responsible for achieving new aircraft type approvals and maintaining existing ones.
- Ensure that budget and recruitment efforts complement requirements and company standards.
- Manage third-party contractual agreements as required.
- Remain available for the Airport Facility repair department, the Airport Fire Brigade and the Aerodrome Consultancy committee as needed.
- Lead the workplace with enthusiasm, perseverance, positive attitude, and flexibility to complement company standards.
- Promote a Just Culture, adhere to company Health & Safety policies, and report all incidents and occurrences through the Company Safety Management.
- Monitor performance and provide regular briefings, guidance, and support to the team as necessary.
- Supervise hangar cleanliness and overall environment to maintain high safety standards.
- Assist management with quality audits, findings containment, root cause analysis, corrective and preventative actions.

Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:

- Deep understanding of EASA Part-145 requirements and Human Factors.
- Form 4 holder experience.
- Minimum 5 year experience in aviation maintenance management environments.
- Holder of a EASA C, B1 or B2 Part 66 license.
- Knowledge relating to Part-145.A.30(b), Part-M, Part-66, Part-21 regulations and CDCCL and EWIS is preferred.
- Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
- Excellent communicator, flexible, and solution-focused.
- Excellent knowledge of the company's standard operating procedures.
- Have the right to work in the United Kingdom without restriction.
- Must be eligible for an airside pass.
- Be highly motivated, a great team player with a high level of attention to detail.
