We have an exciting opportunity within our Business Support Service for two passionate and self-motivated Team Leaders to lead in two of our services - the Emergency Duty Team (EDT) and the other for the Children with Disabilities Team (CWD/SEND). As a Team Leader you will have a pivotal role in supporting the smooth and efficient delivery of all aspects of our services and work closely with others in the Business Support Services team.

The EDT team work out of hours, between 4.45pm to 1.30am and, as such, the Team Leader role will be required to lead and support these Business Support Staff during some of these working hours. These hours will be negotiable - with occasional later or weekend working as the service requires. A degree of flexibility will be required to ensure the smooth running of the team.

The working hours for the CWD/SEND Team Leader role are 8.45am to 5.15pm Mon-Thurs and 8.45 to 4.15pm on a Fri.

About the Team..

The primary role of the EDT and CWD/SEND teams are to provide essential support to frontline social work staff. The team work closely with practice staff to ensure data is up to date and that our care system Eclipse reflects accurate and timely information about Children and Families.

You will be a ‘can-do' person, who is passionate about high quality service delivery and performance. You will be able to work effectively within a dedicated team environment, be customer focused and able to deliver the role with a flexible forward-thinking and creative approach.

You will have a critical role in the effective day to day running of the Business Support Service for EDT & CWD/SEND, you will have the experience of change and stakeholder management; possess outstanding leadership and management skills, be well organised, creative and innovative in your thinking and approach. You will have the skills and confidence to set work and meet tight deadlines; be articulate and proactive.

You will be able to set clear expectations and be experienced at motivating and delegating to a team.
