Join us as a Specialist Business Control Partner
- Working in Financial Crime, you’ll be partnering with our business and Risk functions to identify, assess and manage its financial crime risks within an agreed risk appetite
- Within this specialist capacity, you’ll be making a vital contribution to driving a generative culture of risk awareness and recommending solutions to financial crime risk issues
- Hone your risk awareness skills and advance your career in this fast-paced and varied role

**What you’ll do**:
Day-to-day, you’ll be delivering a robust financial crime standards framework that’s in line with operational risk, conduct and compliance requirements.

Alongside this, you’ll be providing relevant specialist risk activities to build credible and realistic plans to move and sustain a control environment certification rating within risk appetite.

Other key responsibilities may include:

- Leading and inspiring a team of business and customer control partners to make sure that your team’s objectives are achieved
- Designing processes that are fit for purpose and meet regulatory requirements
- Creating system requirements and progressing change requests to facilitate system enhancements or fixes
- Undertaking and investigating complex queries through to resolution
- Continuously seeking to improve the usability of the financial crime intranet portal and systems

**The skills you’ll need**:
In addition, you’ll have excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, coupled with experience of successfully engaging with stakeholders to deliver initiatives.

Furthermore, you’ll need:

- An understanding of financial crime processes, systems, controls and operating models and the ability to provide insights and analysis to stakeholders
- Experience of working within the approved governance to make sure that any changes to the existing documented procedures are compliant with policy and regulatory requirements
- Knowledge of how to deliver existing processes and ad hoc accountabilities to the highest standard, while managing multiple agendas and stakeholder requirements
- Experience of collecting, evaluating and documenting business requirements
- The ability to analyse and evaluate multiple sources of information, alternatives and associated consequences
