Our Civil Enforcement Officers are the eyes and ears of the local community, patrolling across Cannock, Lichfield, East Staffordshire, South Staffordshire and Tamworth, keeping traffic moving and people safe, providing advice to residents, businesses and visitors, whilst enforcing traffic regulation orders fairly, accurately and consistently. You will play a significant role in reducing traffic congestion, and improving air quality through the enforcement of parking restrictions.

Your day will be spent mostly outside, in all weathers and you will be dealing with members of the public face to face, so customer service must be something you enjoy, sometimes in difficult situations. Basic computing skills would be an advantage, as you will be using a hand held device daily.

This role specifies enforcement is based in and around Lichfield and surrounding areas only.
