**The role**

Our rapidly scaling technology consultancy has an exciting opportunity for a Finance Administrator to join our Finance team.

With an eye for detail in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, this diverse role is a chance to further develop your career in Finance and be a hands on key player in the company. You’ll be reporting into our Head of Finance and from day 1 you will havea direct impact on our success as we scale and grow. Building on our current systems and processes, you will have plenty of opportunity to Introduce your own ideas as you help shape the Finance function as we grow.

This role is for someone who is a self-starter, has a can do attitude, loves to work autonomously and able to motivate themselves to achieve their personal and professional goals as well as running a smooth Finance Hub.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date account records on Xero
- Processing and managing Staff and Directors Expenses
- Managing purchase ledger invoices, payment runs and statements
- Generating sales invoices and allocating bank payments onto the accounting system
- Management of timesheet system - Including monthly contractor payment runs
- Internal reporting for project-based work
- Credit control for new and existing customers
- Assisting in end of month accounts (prepayment journals, asset register, depreciation, and reconciliations)
- Management of Purchase Orders
- Maintaining good working relationships both internal and externally

Key Personal Attributes and Experience
- Enthusiasm to learn and support improvements to the current systems
- Microsoft Excel skills
- Solid communication skills, both written and verbal
- Great attention to detail and organisational skills
- Flexible approach to working in a rapidly growing business
- Professional and friendly attitude to associates and staff
- Bright, enthusiastic attitude who Is able to work In a fast paced multi task environment
- Helpful, can do attitude willing to help In various hubs of the business
- Minimum 1 year in finance related role
- Timesheet management desirable but not essential
