Vestas Power Solutions (VPS) is where new product ideas are developed, matured, improved, and tested. Within Vestas Power Solutions (VPS), you'll find our department, Service Documentation, as part of New Product Master.
The Service Documentation department is responsible for creating comprehensive technical end-user documentation that supports the Service value chain. Our team consists of skilled professionals with a solid background in both technology and language expertise. We are currently seeking assistance from professionals like you to contribute to our expanded project scope.
Within the Service Documentation department, our primary focus is to provide technical documentation for various aspects of design projects. These include safety documentation, scheduled service documentation, as well as repair and replacement instructions. We aim to ensure that our documentation meets the highest quality standards and effectively supports the needs of end-users throughout the Service value chain.

**Responsibilities**
- Consistently create DITA-compliant content: Your primary task will involve producing content that adheres to the Darwin Information Typing Architecture (DITA) standards. This ensures the consistency and compatibility of the documentation across various platforms and systems
- Prepare content for localization: You will be responsible for ensuring that the content is prepared in a way that facilitates easy localization. This involves considering factors such as language, cultural nuances, and regional requirements to enable seamless translation and adaptation of the documentation
- Develop audience-specific information: Through thorough analysis of end-users, you will be tasked with creating tailored information that caters to the specific needs and preferences of different target audiences. This customization helps enhance user experience and promotes effective communication
- Facilitate alignment, validation, and review processes: Working closely with relevant stakeholders, you will ensure the alignment of documentation and oversee the validation and review processes. This collaborative approach ensures that the documentation meets the required standards and effectively addresses the needs of both internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with style guide and guidelines: It will be your responsibility to ensure that all documentation aligns with the existing style guide and any other relevant guidelines. This consistency in formatting, tone, and structure maintains a unified brand voice and enhances readability
- Maintain alignment with Vestas-specific terminology and STE100 standard: You will be required to ensure that the documentation adheres to Vestas-specific terminology, promoting clarity and consistency within the organization. Additionally, compliance with the Simplified Technical English (STE100) standard will be crucial in achieving concise and unambiguous documentation
- Establish and manage Vestas taxonomy and metadata: Defining and maintaining the Vestas taxonomy and metadata will be a key aspect of your role. This involves organizing and categorizing information in a systematic manner, making it easily accessible and searchable for users
