To develop, manage, and maintain countryside recreation and nature conservation sites and facilities within the Borough using a range of best practice countryside management techniques, to ensure high standards of service provision and delivery to the public.

**ABOUT YOU**
You will have:
- Comprehensive understanding of Countryside Management
- A level and or countryside management NVQs
- Natural history knowledge and livestock handling
- Computer literate
- Minimum of 2 years employment in a countryside management, natural or earth sciences discipline
- Practical countryside skills, estate management skills, tree, grassland, heathland, livestock conservation management, map reading, relevant ICT and able to confidently present to the public
- Good working knowledge of hand tools, small power tools, tractors
sit on mowers, motor vehicles, trailers, 4-wheel drive vehicles vehicle mounted spraying
- Understanding of Green Infrastructure opportunities from a health and wellbeing/recreation perspective, combined with an understanding of the nature conservation and ecological value of Green Infrastructure
- Able to clearly understand and balance the management of nature conservation and public access and enjoyment
