**In this full-time role you will be supporting an individual who has autism, epilepsy and learning disabilities in a supported living setting based in Scarborough. Your role will involve assisting the service user with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and transfers using hoisting equipment. Other responsibilities will include engaging with the service user in meaningful conversations and activities, while understanding their limited speech and finding creative ways to communicate effectively. This role will also require you to carry out light household tasks such a meal preparation and maintaining a clean and organised living space.**

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 12 months experience in Social Care is essential (must have at least 6 months UK experience)
- Being a driver with access to your own vehicle is desirable due to the accessibility of Scarborough
- Strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills to engage with the service user effectively
- Be proactive and engaging with the service users you are supporting
- Flexible availability to accommodate varying shift patterns, including weekends and evenings
- Empathy, compassion, and a genuine desire to make a difference
