**Hours: 9am - 5pm (with 1 hour unpaid break)**

Hopefield Animal Sanctuary is looking for a hard-working, dedicated person who will take our events and visitor experience to new heights. This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to come on board with a respected, well-known local charity, and help make a real difference to the lives of over 600 rescued animals. The sanctuary has grown exponentially in recent years and continues to do so, and we’re now looking to expand our friendly team.

**The role**:
This position will focus on 2 main areas
- Events - We’re looking for someone that can organise and expand our fundraising events. This area of the role will include fun weekends, afternoon teas, vegan nights (in collaboration with our Cafe Manager), quiz nights, and so much more We’re open to new ideas you may have, too. You will also be expected to work with our Marketing Officer to spread the word about our fundraising events.
- The visitor experience - We’d like to enhance our visitor experience and drive more people to the sanctuary. You will oversee the visitor journey, from managing the online booking system, dealing with birthday party and ethical animal experience enquiries, re-stocking our activity barn with ceramics, sand art and colouring sheets. You will also oversee and manage the seasonal staff that we employ for events and school holidays.

**What we’re looking for**:

- Previous experience in events coordination.
- Experience of working towards (and meeting) targets.
- A hard worker, with lots of enthusiasm to drive the role forward.
- A team player.
- A driving license is desirable as you may be expected to attend off-site events.

Pay: £25,000.00 per year
