Under the direction of the lead professional; you will deliver prescribed interventions on an individual and group basis with service users who have difficulty regulating their emotions and utilise self-harm to manage high levels of distress. The interventions will be focussed on assisting the person to identify and achieve their agreed goals, utilising a Structured Clinical Management model focusing on problem solving, managing emotions, getting along with others and managing impulsivity. You will also be required to provide interventions as directed by the qualified professional related to risk management, psychoeducation, social inclusion, activities of daily living and mental health promotion.

You will also be involved in supporting our service users to complete appropriate outcome measure tools, participate in reviews of the service user’s care and effectiveness of the interventions and provide support to other colleagues and learners as appropriate.
