**MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES IN THE BUSINES**:
Kainos Workday AMS

As a Workday AMS Integrations Consultant in Kainos, you’ll work with our customers to do just that.

As a knowledgeable expert in Integrations, you will work closely with customers to resolve their issues and when new integrations are required, you will scope, gather requirements, document, implement, deploy and support the integration solution, using the Workday integration platform toolset.

**Essential requirements**
- Proficiency with XML, XPath and XSLT, and be knowledgeable in an object oriented programming language (preferably J2EE)
- Experience of designing workflows to solve business and technical problems
- Good understanding of cloud computing, web services and associated integration challenges
- Very good customer focus, with experience in a customer-facing, consulting environment. Able to understand customer needs and build relationships. Able to understand when to escalate issues.
- Clear and effective communicator, able to communicate with customers and colleagues with credibility and empathy, including in a remote working situation.
- Good commercial awareness and sound understanding of project and business dynamics
- Capable of working within (remote) teams and alongside customers, as well as on your individual tasks with no supervision
- Able to plan own workload and meet deadlines
- Consulting skills e.g., presenting, participating in workshops, explaining functionality or solutions to customers
- Willing and able to act as a role model within the capability and mentor and/or line manage more junior consultants
- Willing and able to support the sales process including the production of estimates for the delivery of work packages
- Aware of the importance of confidentiality and non-disclosure policies and/or agreements and ensuring the security of information at all times
- Willing to come up with improvements in tools and/or processes to help the practice
- Willingness to rotate through various Workday delivery services, specifically Consulting and Application Management Services

**DESIRABLE SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE**
- Workday Certification
- Proficiency in other middleware/ integration platforms
- Experience of designing workflows to solve business and technical problems
- Professional qualifications in your area of expertise
- Experience of development of more junior colleagues through career coaching and mentoring
- Experience in post deployment services
- Awareness of the Kainos story and wider business offering
- Awareness of company strategy and how to support it
