In return, you will be joining a long-established organisation that has continued to expand and evolve. At the heart of our company is a belief in a High Performance Culture; and we provide a multitude of platforms and opportunities to support our team members in being the best versions of themselves. In particular, we offer three levels of Leadership Development Programmes, all of which are accredited by the Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI); a designated Training Centre, complete with comprehensive Internal Training Prospectus; and access to the Volkswagen Group UKs National Learning Centre.

**How we support our #Exceptional People**:
All team members are provided with access to the following:

- The Vindis Perkbox Benefits Scheme, which offers a host of significantly discounted options e.g. holidays, gym memberships, cinema tickets, supermarket vouchers etc.
- An Employee Car Scheme, following a qualifying period. This will provide you with an opportunity to love our brand products as much as we do and drive them at affordable prices.

- Access to Cycle to Work Scheme.

**Key Role Responsibilities**:
As a Trainee Employee Relations Advisor, you will be an integral member of the Human Resources Team. Your key responsibilities will include:

- Championing and maintaining a culture of client service excellence; ensuring that the expectations and requirements of the departments clients are delivered upon.
- Analysing the data available, to make swift, decisive and effective decisions, to deliver the most appropriate outcome within your business area.
- Ensuring a culture of a positive approach to Policy, Compliance and Risk Management is being championed and progressed within your business area.
- Providing an easy and enjoyable client (customer) experience (internal and external), each and every time
- Ensuring that all documentation and records that are created and maintained by your business area are complete, accurate and aligned with any required standards.
- Striving for a culture of performance delivery and success.

You will be required to provide a comprehensive level of support to Line Managers within the Vindis Group businesses, with respect to matters relating to employment law. In addition to providing advice and guidance, you will be responsible for documenting the minutes of meetings, as needed, either in person or via virtual platforms; and for drafting associated documentation.

The position offers 40 hours per week and there is potentially some flexibility in the structure of these, which can be discussed at the point of interviewing.

As the workload within a HR Department fluctuates, you will be expected to demonstrate flexibility with respect to your working pattern, to ensure that the demands of the department are met.

**Prerequisites**:

- Previous relevant experience is preferred, however transferable skills will also be considered
- Good communication skills
