-About the role

The main purpose of this dual post is to deliver an outstanding provision to learners on level 1, 2 and 3 courses in Hospitality and Catering. Supporting teaching, learning and assessments across cohorts. To lead on and organise the day to day running of the Orange Tree restaurant. Manage service days and events internally and externally. Ensuring students are supported in their learning and customers receive a positive experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake curriculum planning and delivery, coordinating, liaising, and informing other staff as appropriate with the support of other Lecturers and Learner Manager.
- Prepare learning materials of a high professional standard to match assessment criteria for the above as required.
- Work flexibly to ensure that services days are planned and delivered to meet the needs of customers and students.
Skills, knowledge and expertise

**Qualifications and training**:

- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant vocational area is essential

**Skills and expertise**:

- Significant recent experience of working within the Hospitality and Catering industry.
- Good communication & interpersonal skills at individual and group level.
- Experience of working closely with employers to enrich learning.
