**Average 56 hours per week**

A fantastic opportunity has arisen within Bidvest Noonan for Mobile Relief Officers, who will work at our client’s premises across Barnsley and the surrounding areas.

You must be able to demonstrate and deliver high quality guarding and excellent customer service to both our clients and service users.

We require Officers to be SIA licenced - **Security Guarding/Door Supervision**

The Mobile Relief Officer is required to provide an efficient, effective and professional security service.

**INFORMATION**
- Position - Mobile Relief Officer
- Location - Barnsley & surrounding areas (expected to cover up to a 50 mile radius)
- Pay Rate - £11.00 per hour (business mileage paid in addition anything over the first 10 miles each way)
- Hours - Average 56 hours per week, up to 12 hour shifts across days, nights & weekends

**DUTIES AS A MOBILE RELIEF OFFICER**
- Ensure the safety of all staff and visitors on site
- Be able to cover sites within a 50 mile radius
- Gatehouse duties including access and egress controls
- Protect client property
- Liaise with the Police and other emergency services
- Report/incident writing
- Internal/external patrols of the site
- Staff and vehicle searches as and when required
- To use sound judgement and good interpersonal skills when dealing with members of the public and on-site personnel
- To support, promote and protect the business needs of the client.
- To conform to establishment Assignment Instructions and Risk Assessments.
- To conform to client processes and protocols.
- To maintain your in-date SIA qualification.
- To maintain your in-date Security Clearance status.
- To participate in other duties commensurate to the role.

**JOB ROLE REQUIREMENTS**
- SIA Licence - Security Guarding/Door Supervision
- Must hold a full UK Drivers’ Licence and have access to own car due to the large area expected to cover
- Previous experience in the security industry is an advantage
- Be physically fit and able to handle weight, equipment, people and patrol effectively by foot
- Have a calm personality and be capable of controlling difficult situations
- Be proactive, hardworking and professional by nature
- Be flexible to meet the needs of the role; including short notice shift changes
- Be able to work independently, but also as a member of a team
- Be able to communicate effectively at all levels
- Deliver excellent customer service
- Basic IT skills
- Demonstrate the ability to think and act quickly in emergencies or under pressure
- Good communication skills with the ability to deliver succinct and clear verbal and written reports where necessary
- Maintain a high standard of personal presentation
- High standards of both punctuality and attendance to ensure team effectiveness and availability
