Cedar are currently supporting a leading telecomms business based in East London with the search for an Interim Accounts Payable Officer. This role will be for an initial 3 month period to support with the upcoming year end.

This role offers hybrid working with the expectation of 3 working days in the office per week.

As the Interim Accounts Payable Officer, the primary focus of this role will be to manage the efficient processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable invoicing, payments and collections.

Duties
- Maintain the supplier invoice register
- Process supplier invoices
- Ensure invoices are approved
- Raise billing disputes with suppliers
- Prepare supplier payment proposals
- Ensure the regular reconciliation of supplier statements
- Control the approval and payment of staff expenses
- Complete monthly reconciliations of the sales ledger with aged debt analysis
- Complete credit checks for new customers
- Manage the shared AP mailbox
- Support with the preparation of the cashflow forecast

Skills and experience -- Proactive and keen to take ownership of end to end completion
- Highly organised
- Works productively in a high-pressure environment
- Methodical
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 - advantageous

You will need to be either immediately available or on a maximum one week notice period to be considered for this role.
