Type letters to patients, GPs medical staff and any other required addressee following clinic attendance and other patient contacts. Proof reading electronic system generated letters. Highlight any investigations, outpatient appointments, results that are pending and require action from the Specialty Admin Teams. Use the patient administration system for updating and extracting patient information on a daily basis.

Undertake routine office duties including scanning to Evolve. Be versatile and adaptable to the demands of the team. Work without supervision and take initiative when required. Contribute towards design and amendment of new template letters as required.

Liaise with team members to ensure that any process changes run smoothly and efficiently. Take urgent action on complaints, seeking advice from the Typing Pool Manager where necessary. Assist and correctly advise new and existing colleagues. For full details see attached Job Description.
