Technical Adviser

My client is a highly reputable, leading national company looking to expand their team further. They are seeking an Technical Adviser to join their buoyant and professional team. Previously experience in a technical IT position is not essential but a technical mind is required.

This is a full time, permanent position based near Taunton. This role is Monday - Friday with some optional hybrid working available. Main duties include;
- Customise the bespoke software to meet the needs of customers
- Problem solve any configuration issues and report any faults within the software
- Keep an a regular and accurate record of the activities log
- Extract customer data in order to create reports and present the data back
- Work with a number of internal and external stakeholders to ensure requests are resolved in a timely manner
- A logical thinker with a can do attitude
- Strong attention to detail
- Problem solver
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage personal workload and meet deadlines
- Previous experience in a technical / software based role
- Ability to work closely and flexibly with other team members
- Ability to follow clear instructions to carry out given tasks
- Demonstrate a high level of professionalism, integrity and commitment
- Ownership of own continuing professional development
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
