**Deceuninck are a Window Systems Company based in Calne, Wiltshire; we extrude and laminate 6-meter lengths of uPVC profiles for windows and doorframes.**

**We are looking to hire new sideloader operators in our warehouse team on the Porte Marsh Industrial Estate.**

The purpose of this role is to accurately and efficiently hand pick customer orders using hand held scanners and industry specific side loader trucks; the key difference is the driver rises with the picking platform to pick stock from different heights smoothly.

In addition to our standard new starter induction with Health & Safety and HR, you will receive a department induction, full introduction and specialist training on driving our trucks and support with your tasks and responsibilities.

**Duties include**:

- Works from picking lists, picks orders accurately and efficiently.
- Checks products for visual and physical defect or damage.
- Picks orders at varying heights using a picking platform (once trained and licensed to do so)
- Participates in stock counts.
- Checks picking machinery for any problems/defects at the beginning of the shift and logs details on the relevant check sheets.
- Works in accordance with all health and safety instructions, notices and safe working practices.

**Skills and Experience**:

- Recent forklift/combi-lift/sideloader experience is desirable, although full training will be provided
- Excellent attention to detail, a careful, accurate approach to work and driving
- Previous experience working in a warehouse environment beneficial
- Previous experience with hand held scanners beneficial

**Working Hours**:
40 hours per week. Worked in a 3 weekly shift rotation of Earlies (6am - 2pm) and Lates (2pm - 10pm) Monday to Friday and Nights (10pm - 6am) Sunday to Thursday. With ½ hour paid break.

Hours may vary during initial training.

Overtime is sometimes required to cover holidays or meet deadlines.

**Compensation & Benefits**:
Bonuses:

Competitive hourly pay:

- Day shift: £11.17 (flat hourly rate) + £1.34 (day shift allowance) = £12.51 per hour
- Late shift: £11.17 (flat hourly rate) + £1.84 (late shift allowance) = £13.01 per hour
- Night shift: £11.17 (flat hourly rate) + £2.68 (night shift allowance) = £13.85 per hour
