**The Vacancy**

We are recruiting for a Community Host Coordinator to work in our newly acquired Supported Lodgings service, a service that provides long term placements for 16/17 year old care leavers in the homes of Community Hosts in Chester and Cheshire.

A large part of this role is **recruiting for local community hosts** in Cheshire/Chester, providing training and generally overseeing their management. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with **great communication and relationship building skills**. Additionally, a** background in recruitment and/or working with young people would be advantageous.**

**You will be working predominantly in Chester and Ellesmere Port.**

**About you**:
You will have excellent communication skills and be committed to the values and ethos of Depaul UK.
- Experience and an understanding of working with people experiencing homelessness, or people in crisis
- Experience of supporting young people with their support needs, working closely with other key professionals.
- Experience of writing, implementing and evaluating risk assessments
- Experience of supervising or supporting hosts or staff
