**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Preparing management accounts
- Streamlining financial processes
- Reporting across the group
- Managing and supporting a part-time accounts assistant
- Uploading sales files into Xero
- Collating sales information for reporting purposes from multiple formats
- Collation of foreign income
- Debt collection for internal invoices
- Payroll
- Bi-annual royalty runs for UK and US
- Payment of Company Pension and related calculation of employee benefits
- Quarterly VAT returns and withholding tax returns
- Reconciling and posting of distributor statements (UK & US)
- Tax return information preparation for US office (W-8’s & W-9’s)
- Overall management of UK and US customer, supplier accounts and balances across purchase and sales ledger

**Key Skills & Attributes**:

- Strong administrative skills, particularly the ability to use a variety of software and databases such as Microsoft 365, Excel & Xero
- Strong Excel skills, to include pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
- Accurate, proactive, and adaptable approach
- Proven experience in an Accounts Manager/Management Accountant position
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Experience of an accounts system change/IT upgrades would be an advantage
