**At a glance**

The Partnership has adopted a hybrid working approach meaning you'll be able to work a mixture between the office and home based upon your personal needs whilst balancing the needs of the business. This role is based at our **Waitrose Head Office in Bracknell**, Berkshire**. After your initial training, there may be the opportunity to work from home on some days, with Monday and Tuesday currently being fixed office days.
The salary range for this role is set at** £25,300 to £29,100** per annum.
The working hours for this role are on a 3 week rota basis.
Week 1 - Monday to Friday 08:30-17:00
Week 2 - Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:00
Week 3 - Monday to Friday 07:00 - 15:30
This is a **secondment until September 2024**. Internally this role is known as Administration Assistant Central Transport.
**About the role**
As an Administration Assistant within the Central Transport Customer Service Team, you will be responsible for answering phone calls from Waitrose branches and supporting the logging and rectification of defects on Ecom delivery vehicles. In this role you will work as part of a team delivering Central Transport’s objectives of supporting all Partnership vehicle operations, particularly of Waitrose branches with Ecom delivery vehicles, in the efficient governance of driver and vehicle sourcing, management and cost control.
You will provide a high level of customer service over the telephone, with the team taking approximately 650 calls each week from branches, to the vehicle operators and their suppliers maintaining the accuracy of information and highlighting any failings in adherence to processes. You will be expected to use your initiative and good judgement to make critical decisions which will affect both the department, the operations it supports and the business. You will also take ownership for yours and Central Transport’s operational success and your own personal development.
