It will provide a holistic space for colleagues to access the array of health and wellbeing services that the Trust and Joined Up Care Derbyshire has to offer for our colleagues.

We are looking for 1.5 Health Improvement Advisors (Band 4) to support the planning and delivery of the services and activities that will operate out of the Hub. You will work alongside the Senior Health Improvement Advisor (currently out for recruitment) along with other colleagues who support the Trusts Health and Wellbeing Services.

These roles will embed a high impact, inclusive and engaging health and wellbeing programme which supports our people and support the delivery of high-quality patient care. We want you to be passionate about our people, our patients and their families, and the public service we provide.

- Support the day-to-day operations of the Health and Wellbeing Hub and the programming of H&W services within this, maximising the facilities usage.
- Day to day support of membership systems, inductions and client programmes and opportunity engagement protocols.
- Responsible for managing and maintaining health and fitness equipment.
- Working with the Workforce Health and Wellbeing Lead and Senior HIA to develop and implement health and wellbeing programmes, including inclusive physical activity opportunities and wider determinants of health.
- Support Trust Wellbeing Champions.
- Support the implementation of the Trust’s and the Integrated Care Systems (ICS) Wellbeing ambitions, including leading the delivery of physical activity services against set KPIs and ensuring responsiveness to the needs of colleagues.
- Design and deliver a range of physical activity and wellbeing interventions that meets the needs of our Health and Social Care Colleagues.
- As these are facility-based roles the successful applicants will be required to a work a shift pattern (between 6.30am-9pm currently Monday to Friday). With potential for this to expand once the services become embedded. You will be required to work from the Chesterfield Royal Hospital site.

Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is a well performing Foundation Trust serving a population of around 441,000 across the Bolsover, Chesterfield, Derbyshire Dales, North Amber Valley, High Peak and North East Derbyshire districts. With a workforce of around 5,000 staff and good financial control, currently operating with a positive financial surplus and was recently rated “Good” by the CQC following their latest inspection in February 2017.

Supporting over 5,700 colleagues across the Trust and DSFS. These facilities will house our peer support services, a fitness suite, studio space and multi-functional room space. The roles we are looking to recruit will provide the activities and services to support colleagues health and wellbeing.
