Our client is a seller and manufacturer of Batteries and associated products in many industries and industry sectors including Automotive, Rail, Commercial Transport, Plant, Traffic Management and Renewable Energy.

We are looking for someone to start as soon as as possible on a permanent basis for our client in the Bishops Stortford area with experience and an understanding of the need for excellent document control.

Your main duty will be to assist the Quality Management Team in assuring that all documentation, products and manufacturing processes are compliant to appropriate Directives and Regulations.

**You will ideally have the following attributes/experience**:

- Previous experience in a similar role
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Excellent communication and attention to detail.
- Be self-motivated and have a positive attitude.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team in busy office environment, and on your own
- Time management to meet project deadlines.
- Familiarity with health and safety practices.
- Proficient in document tracking software/tools.
- Full driving license preferred and ability to travel, on occasion in the UK.

**The role will involve**:

- Working within a small team, you will be responsible for carrying out a variety of assurance activities including ensuring compliance requirements are adhered to including internal audits, preparation for ISO9001, 14001 & 45001 and customer/supplier audits & tender/supplier forms.
- Contributing to Quality Assurance and O&M manuals preparation.
- Organising electronic and paper filing systems for ISO.
- Assisting with admin tasks, including Health & Safety documentation.
- Liaising with departments across the business to ensure products and processes are compliant to their appropriate directives / regulations.
- Assist, drive and manage the Compliance / Regulatory management system & processes.
- Assist in reviewing procedures and policies.
- Ensure that certifications and associated documentation / paperwork are compliant with company policies and procedures.
- Assist and support the Directors and management with duties and responsibilities.
- Occasional general office support.

**Our client is offering the following.**
- Hours; Mon-Fri 8.30am-5pm ideally, however some flexibility is possible
- Free onsite parking
- Salary £24,000 - £28,000 for full time hours, dependant upon experience
