My client, based in Falmouth are looking for an accounts assistant to join the team who can provide key support to the finance department. Dealing with a broad range of responsibilities including various accounts receivable and payable duties.

This position is a full-time position. The working hours will be Monday-Friday 08:30-17:00.

**Main duties and responsibilities**:

- Preparing the daily banking and posting cash receipts & payments on the system;
- Assisting the account payable function;
- Reconciliation of supplier statements;
- Processing invoices and supplier payments;
- Processing staff expense claims;
- Reconciling the cashbooks;
- Assisting with AP system process improvements
- Credit control - Chasing monies owed and allocating payment received;
- Managing customer accounts and information requests;
**Required Skills & Experience**:

- Good working knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping practices.
- Ideally AAT qualified, or qualified by experience.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £21,000.00-£23,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
