Due to ongoing growth, we are looking for new team members to join the operations team. This is a new role where you can really make an impact on the business.

We are looking for proactive, forward thinking team player with strong communication and leadership skills. Working in a very fast paced environment you will need to have a high level of common sense and be able to prioritise quickly and efficiently.

You will be customer focused, needing a high attention to detail and have previous experience in working in express logistics and UK and European road freight.

You will be ambitious and career focused with a goal to train in to a operations Manager

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Quoting customers on UK and European dedicated van/vehicle prices
- Plan export and import dedicated van routes
- Co-ordinate and organize drivers, third parties/sub-contractors
- Liaise with customers and solve problems
- Harvest and develop existing accounts and capitalise on new opportunities
- Ensure that a high standard of customer care is prevalent at all times
- Managing and investigating any service issues with sub-contractors
- Assist managing customer complaints to ensure issue is rectified / Route cause analysis / Remedial actions to prevent happening again if possible / Customer satisfaction. Delivering training to staff where needed
- More complex quoting when required from the operations team
- Operational KPI’s
- Supervise the operations team
- Assist training of new members of staff
- Support with any tasks required from the Operations Manager
- Make sure everyone on the team converts as many quotes as possible
- Report into the Operations Manager
- Identifying if we can plan the vehicles more efficiently to ensure maximum profitability on the fleet
- Cultures and Values of the business team are followed at all times

**Experience - Minimum of 3 years**

Previously managed/Supervised a team

Manual planning experience

European planning experience

UK Planning experience

Plan export and import vehicle routes

Experience of quoting dedicated UK and European

ADR Experience

Level D experience

Good level of UK and European geographical knowledge
