**About the Role**:
We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Support Worker to provide dedicated care for a mature female in her 60's living in Belmont with her husband. The role involves either a part time or full time role (35 hours per week including long days & sleep-in's), 2:1 support, both in the client's home and out in the community. The client requires personal care, moving and handling and support with accessing the community.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Assisting the client with daily living activities.
- Accompanying the client on outings and social/leisure activities.
- Supporting the client with moving and handling, full personal care and household duties (including cooking)
- Ensuring a safe and comfortable environment in the client's home.
- Working closely with the client's family and other care team members.
**Requirements**:
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English is crucial.
- A confident and sensitive approach to care, with respect for the client's independence.
- Experience in supporting individuals with brain injury or similar conditions is preferred.
- A full, valid UK driving license.
- Ability to empathise with the client and support appropriately.
- Preference for non-smokers.
