**Job Title**: Young Carer Support Worker

**Salary**: £13,421 per annum (£22,571 FTE)

**Contract**: Permanent

**Hours**: 22 hours per week working Wednesday, Thursday and Friday - working flexibly to cover evenings and weekends as required

**Location**: Flexible and hybrid working in the community - Medway

We have an exciting opportunity and are currently seeking a Young Carer Support Worker to join our team in Medway.

The requirements of the role will include completing statutory assessments for young carers and providing high quality information and support including one-to-one conversations to identify needs with assessments and support plans; running support groups and activities; working with schools and partnership working to identify young carers in Medway.

To be successful you will require experience of working with children or young people, either in one-to-one or group setting and demonstrate an understanding of young carers and their issues.
