CK Group are recruiting for Development Analyst to join a leading pharmaceutical contract development and manufacturing organisation at their expanding facilities located near Newcastle.

**Location**:
The company is located in Cramlington only a few miles away from Newcastle city centre.
**Role**:
As a Development Analyst you will be aiding in analytical investigations into unknown impurities to provide problem solving and troubleshooting, as well as supporting in analytical method development.

**Responsibilities**:

- Using Mass Spectrometry and other techniques to identify and investigate unknown impurities.
- Supporting with corrective action plans to maintain and improve chromatography standards.
- Training analysts on interpretation of analysis and improving knowledge within the department.
- Providing advice to various teams relating to any problems.
- Performing routine auditing of laboratory areas.

**Your Background**:

- Degree in Chemistry or related discipline.
- Must have significant practical experience of analytical method development.
- Experience of Mass Spectrometry and NMR is advantageous.
- Good knowledge and experience of analytical instrumentation and laboratory skills are essential.
