**Senior Residential Worker (Waking Nights)**

**Are you passionate, committed, resilient, enjoy diversity and hard work and you are ready for a fun, exciting brand new opportunity?**

**Salary**:Up to £26,500 per annum (pro-rata), depending on experience.

**Location**: Aylesbury, Bucks. (Aston Clinton)

**Contract/Hours**:Full-Time, Permanent (working 37 hours a week) 3 x nights a week x 10 hours. Flexibility is essential due to the nature of the home being staffed 24/7.

**About the Role**:
We are looking for Senior Residential Workers who will provide a safe environment for a brand new flagship single placement children's home for a young person with learning difficulties and associated needs. This is a fun, exciting and brand new opportunity to make your mark and grown within a brand new team who will make a difference to this young person's life.

You'll be undertaking the role of shift leading by supporting your colleagues to provide a safe, stimulating and caring environment. You will oversee the team take part in the activities whilst on shift. Full training and supervision is given to support your personal development.

We'll be honest, this role can sometimes be emotionally and physically challenging but it's also fun and diverse. You will feel huge sense of reward by being able to help, in the best way possible. If this all sounds ideal, then, you are exactly who we are looking for.

**How you'll help to create a brighter future**:

- Planning and leading shifts to engage the young person and support him to achieve his goals.
- Supporting him in administration of medication and clinical procedures.
- Taking responsibility for personal care and routines on the night shift.
- Being responsible for safeguarding.
- Developing and evaluating care plans and risk assessments.
- Attending meetings/reviews with the team

**Let's talk about you**:

- Experience of working with children and young people in a social care setting.
- Level 3 Diploma in Children or equivalent is desirable.
- Expertise in leading and working within a small team.
- Safeguarding knowledge.
- Be caring and compassionate.
- Ability to work on your own initiative, whilst being proactive and motivated.
- You **MUST** have your own vehicle and be able to travel of your own accord as the location of this home is slightly remote with limited public transport.
