Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and responsible individual to fill the role of Driver/Caregiver. The primary responsibility of this position is to provide safe transportation and support to individuals requiring assistance due to age, disability, or illness. Please note that a care will be provided for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Transportation: Safely transport clients to and from appointments, errands, social outings, and other destinations as required. Ensure adherence to traffic laws and safe driving practices at all times.

2. Personal Assistance: Assist clients with mobility challenges, including getting in and out of vehicles, using mobility aids, and navigating stairs or uneven terrain. Provide physical assistance as needed, such as helping with walking, lifting, or transferring.

3. Companionship: Foster a supportive and friendly environment for clients during transportation and while accompanying them to various activities. Engage in conversation, provide emotional support, and maintain a positive rapport.

4. Safety and Security: Maintain a high level of awareness regarding the safety and well-being of clients throughout transportation and caregiving activities. Take appropriate measures to address any emergent situations or concerns.

5. Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to care. Relay important information regarding clients' needs, preferences, and any changes in their condition.

6. Documentation: Accurately record and maintain records of transportation schedules, mileage, and any incidents or observations during caregiving duties. Complete necessary paperwork in a timely manner.

7. Flexibility: Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling to accommodate clients' appointments and preferences. Be willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications:

- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Prior experience in caregiving, healthcare, or related fields preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to handle physical tasks associated with assisting clients.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Understanding of confidentiality and respect for clients' privacy.
