**Job Title**:Female Live-In Manual Driver Carer for Client with Spinal Cord Injury

**
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated female live-in manual driver carer to provide exceptional care and support to a client residing in Canning Town who has a spinal cord injury. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in someone's life and contribute to their overall well-being.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide comprehensive personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and toileting, adhering to the client's specific needs and preferences.
- Assist with mobility and transfer activities, utilizing appropriate manual handling techniques and equipment.
- Accompany the client to medical appointments, social outings, and other engagements, acting as a reliable and skilled manual driver.
- Administer medications and ensure adherence to prescribed treatment plans, under the guidance of healthcare professionals.
- Support and encourage the client in daily activities, promoting independence and participation in hobbies and interests.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment, ensuring hygiene standards are upheld.
- Foster open communication and build a trusting relationship with the client, offering emotional support and companionship.
- Document daily care activities, observations, and any changes in the client's condition, ensuring accurate and detailed records are maintained.

**Requirements**:

- Female caregiver preferred to suit client's personal preferences and cultural considerations.
- Prior experience in providing care to individuals with spinal cord injuries or similar conditions is highly desirable.
- Valid manual driving license with a clean driving record, proficient in driving adapted vehicles.
- Excellent understanding and practice of manual handling techniques to ensure the safety and well-being of the client.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to establish rapport with the client, their family, and healthcare professionals.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for caring for others.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to the client's changing needs and routines.
- Flexibility to work on a live-in basis, including weekends and holidays, as part of a rotational shift pattern.
