Commercial Assistant
Excellent opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Administrator work with a rapidly growing company that specialise in utilities and are looking to expand their Commercial Team.
The role is a fixed term contract supporting and helping administer all aspects of the Asset Value revenue within the business. This will include payments, quotation values, claims, invoices, claim rejections, internal improvement and liaising with internal departments to resolve issues whilst always looking to improve and support the development of processes and systems in place.
The role will be responsible for:
- Support and administer all processes involved with keeping the Infrastructure Adoption/Asset Adoption accounts up to date.
- Work through claims from conception to payment.
- Chase historical claims in query.
- Create strong supply chain relationships with supplier and customers.
- Support weekly reporting on claims and debt on claims.
- Support and deliver reports on all Asset Adoption post Contract change ensuring that the best value achieved from all changes including design changes.
- Where necessary seek justification and evidence to efficiently respond to queries and ensure timely payments.
- Ensure payments are made on time and to full value.
- As and when required assist Commercial Team with business level processes and procedure implementation or changes.
- Assist with any commercial or financial audits.
- Assist and where required with pre contract Infrastructure Adoption/Asset Adoption requirements.
- Create and maintain strong working relationships with the Technical and Delivery teams.
Qualifications and experience:
- Ability to manage, collate and store data in an efficient and logical manner to ensure best commercial practice.
- Able to administer accounting and customer relationship management portal.
- A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
- The ability to work within a team and interface with people at all levels.
- A drive to deliver and ‘can do’ achiever who can take the initiative to see changes through to delivery.
- A strong attention to details and excellent time management skills.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft office (particularly Outlook, Excel,Word).
- In addition, you will preferably have:
- An analytical bias with the ability to provide solutions.
