We are currently recruiting for a New Business Advisor on behalf of our client, based in Hedge End. Our client is a leading specialist insurance broker providing commercial and personal customers with a range of services to meet individual needs.

This is a permanent full-time role, with an opportunity for a career progression with generous commission and bonus schemes. The role involves dealing with new commercial and non-standard inquiries, managing client accounts and does not include cold calling. Free onsite parking is provided.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Obtaining relevant risk information, providing quotes, and converting opportunities.
- Dealing with ‘hot’ inquiries from existing customers via inbound and outbound calls; no cold calling.
- Dealing directly with clientele to obtain terms, build relationships and negotiate premiums.
- Building new and managing existing relationships with our advisors from company partners.
- Management of own client accounts from inception to renewal, including binding new cover, mid-term alterations and general queries.
- Ongoing sales and product training provided.
- Support in progression with industry qualifications.

About You:

- Experience in sales, ideally within the commercial insurance market.
- Experience in an administrative environment.
- Strong and confident communication skills.
- Confident telephone skills and an active listener; able to control the call in a professional and assertive manner.
- Excellent team player.
- Organised and highly motivated; can be responsible for own workload.
- Positive approach to dealing with new inquiries in a timely fashion, with a can-do attitude.
- Recognising and dealing with opportunities in a manner that always strives for success.

**Salary**: £22,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
