Community Care Assistant

**Position Overview**:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Community Care Assistants in Godalming and the surrounding areas. As a Community Care Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in providing personalised care and support to our clients, enabling them to live fulfilling lives within their own homes.
**Key Responsibilities**:
Personalised Care:
- Deliver compassionate and personalised care tailored to the individual needs of each client.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering meaningful relationships and promoting social interaction.
- Engage in conversation, recreational activities, and hobbies based on clients' interests and preferences.
- Assist clients with mobility and transfers, utilising safe and proper techniques to prevent injuries.
Meal Preparation and Nutrition:
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks according to dietary requirements and preferences.
- Encourage healthy eating habits and hydration among clients.
Household Support:
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, including tidying living spaces, laundry, and light meal preparation.
- Ensure a clean and safe environment for clients.
Communication and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of care provided, including observations and any changes in clients' health or behaviour.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and colleagues to ensure coordinated care delivery.
**Requirements**:
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to caregiving.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to provide physical and emotional support to clients with dignity and respect.
- Reliable and trustworthy with a strong sense of professionalism.
- Prior experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred but not essential.
- Willingness to undergo relevant training and development programs.
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle is desirable.
