Business Applications Analyst

As our ERP Analyst, you will work within the Service Delivery area of our Tech (IT) division to provide services and support to five operating businesses within the UK.dedicated member of our Applications Team, you will deliver quality systems and solutionsto our internal customers. Working closely with Business Partners across the company, you will improve all aspects of Sales, Distribution and/or Finance related tech systems, in line with continuous improvement and changing business requirements.

**As our ERP Analyst, you will be responsible for**:

- Ensuring that day to day maintenance and support of Business Application Systems within the ERP solution are carried out in a timely and accurate manner
- Provide second line Service Desk user support for Business Application Systems and associated reporting systems
- Defining and preparing detailed specifications to facilitate software development, through configuration, documentation and testing of software modifications to agreed standards
- Considering all aspects of security of the Business Application systems, working to ensure integrity of data, and accuracy of information within the ERP and associated reporting solution
- Providing accurate and timely company wide information in the most efficient manner, as necessary
- Working closely with other members of the Tech (IT) division to ensure that new technologies are adopted as appropriate

**In order to be successful as our ERP Analyst, you will ideally have previous experience of supporting and/or configuring ERP solutions, excellent analytical skills with a logical approach to problem solving. You will have a good level understandingof Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint. Confidence to highlight and raise problems/identify solutions for exploration in addition to experience of working to build strong internal/stakeholder relationships and needs.**

Previous experience of JD Edwards Enterprise One ERP, Microsoft Visio (or similar) within a Financial/Accounts or Sales and Distribution environment is desirable but not essential.
