An exciting opportunity has arisen, for you to join a small dedicated staff team that supports a young woman to fulfil her potential in her new home in Rattray.

No previous experience in care is required, as we provide full in-house training to all new staff members.

You will need to be active as she loves long walks, dancing, music, trampolining and swimming, as well as board games and cosy nights in. At times, you may need to manage challenging behaviour but despite this there is lots of fun and affection. This is a chance to develop your own skills and be part of a lively, affectionate and talented young woman’s life.

We are able to offer Full time, Part time, and Bank hours.

**About the Role**:
Your responsibilities as a Support Practitioner could include:

- **Social Support**:

- Assisting individuals to engage with their communities by planning and attending outings to various leisure activities such as day centres, cinema, swimming etc.
- **Medical Support**:

- Administering and monitoring medication.
- **Personal Care**:

- Assisting people to maintain their wellbeing by promoting their personal care which would include assistance with bathing, dressing, arranging visits with the dentist/doctor, incontinence care.
- **Practical Support**:

- Helping people to maintain their tenancy by encouraging daily household tasks such as general housework, laundry, ironing, cooking, shopping.

All new staff members will be required to register with the SSSC within 6 months of their start date.
