**About **the role**
- To work as part of an operational team to ensure that the service is compliant with all relevant regulations, policies and procedures.
- To report on contracts performance levels in uploading completions of works and certification where required and highlight areas of concern.
- To update and maintain spreadsheets, databases and other records as may be necessary to allow for accurate monitoring and reporting.
- To work and liaise with colleagues and suppliers to collect, collate, and record, data, in an efficient and professional manner, being able to demonstrate considerable tact and diplomacy where required.
- To be tenacious and robust is tracking down missing data to ensure that records are complete and accurate.
- To provide efficient admin and technical support for the Mechanical and Electrical Engineering services Team and on occasion associated teams.
- To create, update and maintain written files and records; maintain and control the filing systems in place.
- Processing of Purchase Orders, Job Orders and invoices for good and services as may be required to allow progress of Mechanical and Engineering Services Works.
- To proof-read documents often of a technical nature.

**About you**
- Have good organisational skills and demonstrate a strong attention to detail.
- Excellent customer care skills, which include a proven ability and understanding of communications at all levels.
- Administrative Skills - it is essential that the person can extract, record and present detailed information accurately and methodically from a variety of sources
- Keyboard skills - it is essential that the person can input text and numerical data accurately. Touch typing is not essential.
- Ability to set up spreadsheets and produce graph and charts.
- Ability to draft letters and correspondence for a range of audiences.
- Able to deal effectively with complaints and difficult situations in a diplomatic but assertive manner. The person shall be able to compose stage 1 complaints in a written
format.
