**The Company**
Our client is a major engineering group and is heavily investing in creating a centre of excellence in the manufacture of polymers and composites on a large manufacturing site in Gloucester. The business is well established with nearly 100 years of historyand has many specialised manufacturing capabilities housed on this site.
**The Opportunity**
This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly expanding business as a manufacturing planner. This is a key role, and you will be responsible for the development and implementation of systems and processes to ensure optimal conversion of the MRP into detailedproduction plans.
**The Profile**
- Conversant with MRP / ERP systems
- Develops manufacturing shop orders in accordance with MRP planned order requirements.
- Monitor, analyse and report performance to the production schedule using information derived from MRP/MPS SIOP (Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning) development and involvement).
- Excellent communication skills
- Detail orientated
- Proactive approach to work
- Fully conversant in Ms office
