**Job Objective**

To assist in the smooth and efficient running of Bread Packing. Delivering the packing plan to quality standards, whilst maintaining GMP and H&S at all times.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Run an efficient packing bread operation.
- Deliver high standards of Food Safety, Health & Safety, and GMP as set by the Company.
- Plan and organise the packing to maintain a cost-effective and smooth operation.
- Control of wage cost, working within budgeted guidelines.

**Duties**

**Semi-Mechanised Bakery Operations**
- Able to effectively operate Slicing, Tagging, and Boxing machines. Perform slicing, bagging, stacking pallets and order distributing on the Packing floor.
- Ensuring all paperwork is completed on time and meet with GDocP standards.
- Make sure that all Food Safety, Health & Safety and GMP standards are being followed and support and challenge the team to do the same.
- Ensuring the Packing lines are inspection-ready at all times and running to the optimum speed with costed crew sizes.
- To support the planning, organisation, and measurement of resources (labour and materials) to ensure that short-term targets for Packing.
- Reviewing the orders at the start and during the shift to ensure that targets are met.
- To create and sustain an environment where the team can continue to improve their skills.
- Provide support and training to the team as required, including new starters.
- Managing and maintaining reports and data basis.
- Sending daily reports to the higher management.

**You will be**:

**Shift Pattern**: Mon-Sun, any 5 days out of 7

**Working hours**: 2pm - 11pm

**Salary**: £35500 per annum

**Location**: Hendon, London, NW9
