Entry Level Administrator

We (TBRN) have been chosen by some of the UK’s leading insurance companies and businesses to handle claims for building damage on their behalf. We provide quality repair work via our panel of managed and vetted building contractors, with customer focused care for the people behind the claim being paramount to our claims management ethos and processes.
**The Role**
We are looking for an entry level Claims Administrator to join our team. Responsibilities are:
- Accurately setting up new claim instructions on our claims management system, prioritising and ensuring they are entered in a timely manner
- Communicating effectively with colleagues, clients, contractors and other involved parties, both verbally and in writing
- Supporting the claims handling team with key administrative tasks and learning some of the different processes and tasks involved in the claim journey
- Handle incoming and outgoing post with associated actions
- Monitoring of mailboxes
There is scope for progression into a claims handling role.
**The Ideal Person**
Previous experience in an administrative role is not required, however, we are looking for the following attributes:
- GCSE passes (or equivalent) in English Language and Maths would be an advantage. A high standard of written and verbal communication is essential
- Strong computer literacy skills
- Ability to produce work with a high standard of accuracy, paying attention to detail
- Friendly and professional demeanour
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
- Excellent time keeping and reliability
**What’s on offer**
- Starting salary of £22,400 plus discretionary bonus scheme
- Hours are Monday to Friday, 8.45am to 5.15pm (37.5hrs)
- Our office is based in Moreton, Wirral. Whilst the position is initially office based, after completion of probation there is flexibility for hybrid working if desired
