Blessed Robert Sutton Catholic Voluntary Academy, part of the St Ralph Sherwin Catholic Multi Academy Trust are seeking to appoint a passionate Curriculum Leader in Modern Foreign Languages - Spanish with French to join their hardworking team of staff.

This role represents an exciting opportunity to work as a key member of a committed and dedicated middle leadership team, and to lead a department where collaboration and teamwork is a real strength. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Modern Foreign Languages (Spanish) specialist who enjoys a challenge and will inspire and motivate students, generating enthusiasm for learning. You must have the capability to motivate students of all ages and abilities, to inspire and lead your team, driving up standards in teaching and learning. Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, and the ability to raise attainment at all levels are key aspects of the role.

**You will be responsible for**:

- Teaching classes, including planning, recording, assessing and meeting the social and learning needs of individual pupils
- Maintaining the positive Catholic ethos and core values of the school
- Fulfilling the professional responsibilities of a teacher and meeting the expectations set out in the Teachers’ Standards
