**When you come in to work**
You will be working closely with a diverse, enthusiastic, and talented team as part of a growing Marketplace Department. You will assist with the management of our portfolio of products across our UK marketplace channels including Amazon, eBay, and others.This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about ecommerce and marketplace to have exposure to how we manage our UK accounts, drive sales and monitor KPIs. You’ll work closely with our Marketplace Executive and UK Marketplace Manager, as well asthe broader team, and there will be opportunity to learn quickly and take on responsibility from an early stage. This role would be ideal either for your first role within a business, or your first role in this industry, where you can use transferrable skillssuch as analysis and commercial acumen, as well as an entrepreneurial spirit. You don’t need experience in an identical role - just a keenness to learn and drive sales in a marketplace setting.
In your role, you will assist with:

- Managing a portfolio of products on Amazon.co.uk for one of Amazon’s largest and fastest growing sellers, including but not limited to:

- Utilising and analysing all available data to identify sales/product/category trends and creation and implementation of strategies to maximise product performance
- Creating, managing, and optimising a number of Amazon PPC advertising campaigns
- Swiftly integrating and improving the performance of newly acquired brands whilst also developing and implementing both a short and long-term brand strategy
- Effectively launching new products into competitive niches whilst ensuring sales and profitability targets are achieved
- Conducting competitor analysis, understanding market dynamics to define pricing strategy
- Writing keyword optimised copy for both new and existing product listings
- Briefing the design team to create/enhance images and content
- Managing special offers, sales and major deal campaigns including Prime Day and Black Friday
- Management of other online marketplaces including eBay with the opportunity to drive our growth onto new marketplaces.
- Is passionate about the industry, and is keen to learn more and make a contribution to our business
- Has a positive attitude, and an aptitude for learning - you’re curious, you ask questions to ensure that you understand fully, and make suggestions where you see fit
- Capable of analysing and interpreting data, identifying trends or inefficiencies to achieve effective results in a fast-paced and competitive environment
- Highly proficient on Microsoft Excel to deal with and process large data sets to achieve the above
- Commercially aware to drive revenue, improve profit and hit KPIs
- Passionate about e-commerce and selling online with a keen eye for detail to improve the customer journey and write comprehensive content for product pages
- Keen on optimising and improving existing business processes and product performance
- Able to think creatively to find solutions, prioritize workload and is self-motivated
- Extremely organised with effective time management to work autonomously, prioritising tasks effectively to deliver in a busy and ambiguous environment
- A basic understanding of Amazon Advertising would be beneficial
