Showcase is the UK’s fastest growing physical off-price and sample sale partner working with premium luxury brands like Aspinal of London, Stella McCartney, and Mulberry to run flash/pop up sales. We predominately run our sales out of our flagship store on Regent Street St James’s and other locations in London or online. We also run sales in other regions around the UK with plans to expand on that offering.

We are looking for an Assistant Event Leader to join our fast-growing team delivering premium brand retail events to a high standard. This is an amazing opportunity for the right fashionista who has bundles of energy and experience.

Our Showcase team requires an Assistant Event Manager to support the Event Manager with planning all elements of our Showcase events. It involves management of the whole process from the planning stage, the event itself and post-event evaluation. The role is very hands-on and involves working as part of a team.

Along with managing the smooth running of events responsibilities include:

- Produce proposals, contracts, and event sheets for each brand partnership.
- Manage and coordinate suppliers and all event logistics.
- Management of fulfilment process for online events.
- Manage staff rota and staff for each event.
- Manage the event and ensure a successful event for both members and the brand.
- Liaise with brands and marketing to support all brand promotion and marketing.
- Accurate reporting of all event expenditure.
- Regularly review supplier list for best offers and competitive rates.
- Produce regular reporting on events as required by Management.
- Lead a team to provide exceptional customer experiences.

Along with attracting new business, returning clients are an important source of business, so ensuring events are delivered to meet clients’ expectations is an important part of the role.

The role involves working both on the sales side and delivery side of the business, and this requires flexibility on work hours.

Our primary location is our Regent Street venue, though travel and away stays are required throughout the year to different and exciting locations across the UK and internationally.

Person specification:

- Experience in retail and event management.
- Able to multi-task and work independently.
- Proven leadership skills and team player.
- Flexible with days/hours worked within the 7-day working week between 7am-11pm.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- In-depth understanding of event retail and distribution.
- Good understanding of Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of other retail and marketing systems beneficial.

Pay: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
