**Watson Gym Equipment is a highly successful gym equipment manufacturer established in 1999 that is growing exponentially year to year. Due to continuous expansion we are looking to hire two improver welders in our HQ in Frome, Somerset.**

**The positions are full time and permanent and we are looking for people that want a long term career with the Watson family who will learn how to master their trade with us.**

We are seeking newly qualified, or self taught welders who are looking to develop their welding career. To begin with you will be responsible for end-capping box section of our gym equipment kits ready to be full welded by our Robot welders. As you develop your skill you will be able to take on more fabricating duties until you become a full competent welder-fabricator with us.

We are not looking for someone with perfect welding skills but someone who has the right attitude and the desire to improve

You will receive all the tools and training necessary to achieve the required WGE standard.

**We expect you to**:

- Work safely
- Maintain a tidy workspace
- Work efficiently
- Be quality focussed with good attention to detail
- Be proactive in solving issues
- Work closely with your TL’s and colleagues

**Your duties will include**:

- Using MIG Welding to end cap the box section of our gym equipment kits destined for the robot welder.
- Use grinders to finish off the joins.
- Keep your work area and tools clean and tidy.

**Experience**:

- Recently qualified or had some experience to the point you feel confident running a weld in a straight line.

**- Working Hours**:
1700-0030 (Mon-Thu), 1545-2330 (Fri)

**Salary**:
Between £12-£14 per hour - Based on previous experience and weld test.
