**Our Role**
Our specialties include investment grade and high yield corporate bonds (global, European and US) emerging markets debt, structured credit, bank loans, multi-sector FI, as well as hedge fund strategies and our vision is to be widely regarded as the premieractive global fixed income manager in the world. We therefore seek to add an institutional consultant relations professional to our UK, Middle East and Africa Client Advisory team, based in our London office to support these efforts, reporting into the Headof UK, Middle East, and Africa Client Advisory (UK).
The UK, Middle East and Africa Client Advisory team currently comprises three team members with activities broadly segmented between consultant relations, UK/Ireland institutional sales, and Middle East/Africa institutional sales. The hired individual willwork most closely with these team members, but also with the Global Consultant Relations team (based in the US and Asia) and broader EMEA Client Advisory Group.
**Your Impact**
- Coverage of fixed income and alternatives research teams of UK consultants and Global consultants with UK presence.- Maintain existing buy ratings and acquire new ratings.
- Coverage of field consultants
- Commercialize buy ratings and develop sales opportunities.
- Coverage of OCIO / fiduciary managers
- Develop new opportunities
- The above coverage will be partially shared with the other team members with close collaboration and collegiality key for this role
- Close coordination will also be required with the other PGIM units, including the UK Institutional Relationship Group, the UK PGIM Investments team, and equivalents at the other investment divisions
- Contribute to the team strategy including the design and implementation of strategic plans, marketing initiatives, and product development initiatives
- Attend industry events to help grow awareness of PGIM Fixed Income and engage with key consultant contacts
- ESG is a firmwide priority, therefore relevant for all our strategies with focus on risk integration, engagement, and reporting
**Your Required Skills**:
- Extensive relevant experience
- A solid grasp of fixed income products and markets
- Educated to a degree level
- A post-graduate qualification (CFA, MBA) would be advantageous
- Pragmatic approach with a focus on building strong supportive relationships internally and externally
