**About us**
Vale Homes provide services to just over 4,000 council tenants, making the Council the largest landlord in the Vale of Glamorgan.

As part of a small team, to provide a customer focused and responsive estate based housing management service;
To deal speedily and pro-actively to low level estate management problems;
To act as the ‘eyes and ears’ of the Authority ensuring that problems that are unable to be dealt with directly are reported immediately to the appropriate officer/agency.

**About the role**
Pay Details: Grade 5 (£20,493 - £22,183)

Hours of Work / Working Pattern: 5 days a week/ 37 hours a week

Main Place of Work: Alps

General requirements:

- Experience of working with people in a customer focussed environment
- A general knowledge of the role and responsibilities of a social landlord
- An ability to communicate clearly and effectively with a range of people
- A good team player
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- A good negotiator
- Ability to manage small projects

**About you**
Essential requirements:

- 5 GCSE’s Grade A - C or equivalent to include English and Maths
- A ‘can do’ attitude providing an excellent customer service
- Enthusiastic and can demonstrate initiative.
- Capable of working in a multi disciplined area.
- Team player
- Ability to drive/travel throughout the Vale or between locations as appropriate.
