Health Care Assistant

We are seeking caring, supportive, and enthusiastic Healthcare Assistants to join our teams in Gloucester and Cheltenham. This role involves providing day-to-day care to individuals within their own homes, helping them maintain their independence and achieve the highest quality of life.
**Responsibilities**:
- Assist clients with daily personal care such as washing, dressing, and maintaining personal hygiene.
- Support with meal preparation, grocery shopping, and maintaining a balanced diet.
- Facilitate activities that encourage physical and mental well-being.
- Provide companionship and support with social interactions.
- Administer medication and manage medical appointments as required.
- Record and report the health condition of clients, adhering to company protocols and privacy regulations.
**Requirements**:
- NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or equivalent (preferred but not essential).
- Previous experience in a care setting (home care, residential care, nursing home, etc.).
- A genuine passion for helping others and making a positive impact on their lives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to the dignity and respect of all individuals.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to travel between locations in Bristol and Cheltenham; driving license and own transport preferred.
