Computer Test Technician

**ProTech are looking for a Computer Test Technician to test portable computer products and communication systems.**
**These products take the form of laptops and tablets based on Intel processors running Microsoft Windows.**
**This is an ongoing contract position which falls outside of IR35.**
**Computer Test Technician Requirements**:
- Installation and configuration of Windows
- Using Disk imaging software
- Installing Drivers
- Updating BIOSes
**Computer Test Technician Responsibilities**:
- Experienced using a variety of measurement and test equipment
- Use of a multi-meter to measure voltage, current and continuity
- Basic use of an oscilloscope
- PAT testing
- Maintaining test sheets for all systems tested
- Accurate records of fault reports and corrective action taken
